DealCloud is a deal and relationship management platform built for investment banks, private equity firms, and capital markets teams. It centralizes pipeline tracking, contact management, and firm intelligence.

What syncs

When you connect DealCloud, Breaknine imports:
  • Contacts — people records with name, email, title, and firm affiliation
  • Companies — organization records with deal pipeline context
  • Deals — pipeline entries including stage, status, and associated contacts
All synced records appear as prospects in Breaknine and are available for AI enrichment and outreach.

Connect DealCloud

DealCloud uses client credentials (OAuth 2.0 client credentials flow) rather than a simple API key. You’ll need three values from your DealCloud admin.
1

Get your credentials from DealCloud

Contact your DealCloud administrator or go to your DealCloud instance’s API settings to obtain:
  • Site URL — your DealCloud instance URL, e.g. yourfirm.dealcloud.com
  • Client ID — the OAuth client ID for the API integration
  • Client Secret — the corresponding secret
2

Connect in Breaknine

Go to Settings → Integrations in Breaknine and click Connect next to DealCloud. Enter your site URL, client ID, and client secret, then click Connect.
3

Configure your sync

After connecting, select which entry lists and contact types to sync into Breaknine.

Sync behavior

DealCloud is typically used by financial services firms with enterprise-grade access controls. If you don’t have API credentials, ask your DealCloud administrator to create an API user with read access.

Disconnect

Go to Settings → Integrations, click the DealCloud row, and select Disconnect. You can optionally delete all synced data from Breaknine at the same time.
